My friend Jess Gibson has been busy in the NEMO basement making strides on his side film project with Portland designer Aaron Draplin appropriately titled, The Draplin Thing. From the sound of things at Jess’s site, editing is closing in on completion — just as soon as they get back from the World’s Largest Yard Sale.

Very poignant piece…good to hear an American talking matter of factly and with such passion. However it wouldn’t be the best example of why America is fucked, especially considering that we are still only in the process of tipping over the economic precipice. All the same, good luck with the film I’d imagine it’ll be interesting…if I was American I’d be hanging out with this guy:)
